Roberto Santovito

Sales Specialist – North America

“See the bigger picture” – I always try to go beyond the single market region dynamic I deal with. My personal attitude of curiosity helps me to collect additional information and to understand the real needs of my customer. Seeing the bigger picture is essential in order to do my job in the best way possible.

Passionate about:

Travelling towards new destinations, experiencing new cultures around the world in a continuous search for inspiration together with a direct understanding of how people live and behave abroad. On top of this, I am passionate about photography and live music concerts. Sometimes I take to a clay court for an amateur game of tennis.

Path to Bormioli Pharma:

Since my mid-teens I had the opportunity of following an international path, experiencing part of my studies in Iceland, Turkey and Poland. In 2015, I joined Bormioli Pharma as a sales trainee for the Asia Pacific region. From that time onwards, I started a fast-growing career that after two years led me to be assigned to work in the North American sales team. In that role, I took part in the definition of the company’s strategic plan for the U.S. market. The strategic plan, with the opening of our sales office in Philadelphia, PA, set the stage for a new incredible professional and life experience, moving to the US in order to serve the market from a closer distance. Getting closer to our customers and directly and fully experiencing US culture is a further step in the shaping of a strong international professional vocation, in line with my main passion.

My Bormioli Pharma value:

“See the bigger picture” – I always try to go beyond the single market region dynamic I deal with. My personal attitude of curiosity helps me to collect additional information and to understand the real needs of my customer. Seeing the bigger picture is essential in order to do my job in the best way possible.

I work here because…

In Bormioli Pharma I found a place and community that allows me to work in an international environment. During my first years here, I got in touch with many different Asian countries in the South Pacific region. After moving to the U.S., I will have a further concrete opportunity to live there and to immerse myself in a new culture.
