Plug is a dual chamber system designed to hold the freeze-dried medicine inside the glass bottle and the solvent inside the seal. To activate the system, simply remove the tamper-evident ring and apply pressure to the top of the seal. In this way solvent and powder are mixed and the reconstituted drug is ready to be extracted. Through a special Luer Lock syringe coupling, the professional operator can then screw the syringe in and extract the correct dose of medicine without the use of needles.
