Bormioli Pharma launches call for start-ups on sustainable packaging.
Bormioli Pharma has launched a call for start-ups on the issue of sustainable packaging in the pharmaceutical industry.
In order to access the ‘Le Village by Crédit Agricole Milano’ innovation hub, start-ups interested in taking part have until July 26th to present an innovative project which includes, among other things, the use of innovative and sustainable plastic materials, the reduced use of raw materials, solutions for reusing and recycling and the development of management models for disposing of pharmaceutical packaging.
The projects will be assessed by ‘Le Village’ in collaboration with Bormioli Pharma, other Partners and Crédit Agricole, and the selected innovators may be supported by Bormioli Pharma in developing their idea further on an industrial scale, coming into contact with a profoundly innovation-orientated environment.
The initiative is part of a wider programme called ‘Bormioli Pharma Invents’ which aims to develop innovative solutions through an open and far-reaching approach, integrating internal research and development activities with new projects from start-ups, research centres and universities. The objective of the programme is to create a permeable environment that can generate new added value.
